1. Subscription & Billing

Subscription Plans: Auraly offers weekly ($3.99), monthly ($7.99), and yearly ($39.99) subscription plans. Prices may vary by region and currency based on your device locale.

Immediate Billing: Billing begins immediately upon subscription. There is no free trial period.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle. You can cancel anytime via App Store Settings → Subscriptions or Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions.

Billing Processor: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. Billing is processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

2. Refunds & Cancellation

No Refunds for Partial Periods: We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by law.

Regional Exceptions: Users in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions with mandatory refund periods may be entitled to a refund within the legal window. Consult your local laws.

How to Cancel: Open the App Store or Google Play, go to Subscriptions, find Auraly, and select Cancel. Your access will end at the end of the current billing cycle.

3. Face Scans & Third-Party AI Processing

What is processed: When you take a scan, the app detects facial landmark points on your device using ML Kit, then sends your selfie image and analysis context to a third-party AI service to compute cosmetic glow/skin scores and generate your personalized skincare plan.

Who it is sent to:We currently use OpenAI's API as the third-party AI service that performs this cosmetic analysis. Your selfie is transmitted to OpenAI solely to generate your cosmetic results and plan.

Cosmetic use only: Your facial data is used only for cosmetic scoring and plan generation — never for identity verification, biometric identification, or face recognition.

No training, no resale: Your selfie is not used to train AI models and is not shared or sold for any other purpose. OpenAI processes the data under its API data usage policies, does not use API inputs to train its models, and is contractually required to provide the same or equivalent level of data protection described in our Privacy Policy.

Your consent: Before each scan you must give your permission in the app to send your selfie to this third-party AI service. If you do not agree, the scan does not run and no image is sent.

Retention: Your scan image is stored in a private, access-controlled bucket so future scans can show your progress, and is removed when you delete your Auraly account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content (e.g., hate speech, violence).
  • Use the app to impersonate others or mislead other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape our app or API.
  • Use the app for any illegal or malicious purpose.

Content Review: Our scan analysis service may reject images that cannot be safely or appropriately processed. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Limitation of Liability

No Warranties:Auraly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Not Medical Advice: Auraly is for entertainment and wellness only. We do not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.

Liability Cap: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data or income, arising from your use of Auraly.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and designs in Auraly are owned by Auraly or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the app without permission.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved under Korean law and jurisdiction.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of major changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Auraly after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
